APRN Independent Practice: The State Assembly and State Senate voted on voice votes to pass Assembly Bill 257, which allows for independent practice of APRNs after 3,840 hours of supervised professional nursing in a clinical setting and 3,840 supervised clinical hours of APRN practice. This bill now heads to the Governor’s desk for his signature.
